While most of the games are still trying to catch its fame, Fallout: New Vegas has been distributed many times in its lifespan, and it certainly contributed to its ever-growing fame. While the classics of the Fallout series are great, Fallout: New Vegas merged the charm of the first games with 3D environment and storytelling, making it one of the best RPG hits of the late 2000s. If you haven’t experienced the joys of Fallout: New Vegas (or are just itching to return to the wasteland), now that it's free, there's no excuse not to explore its post-apocalyptic world.There is always “the” game in the series which people point out to be the best. In fact, players continue to beg developer Obsidian Entertainment to make a sequel to this very day. And while the core shooting gameplay is a little rough around the edges, Fallout’s trademark VAT system is once again present which allows you to auto-target enemies making firefights significantly smoother. Fallout’s trademark satirical humor is also very much present, and you might be surprised just how funny some of the electric inhabitants of New Vegas are. ![]()
